Miller & Associates, PLLC™ welcomed two new attorneys to our Houston-based personal injury law firm. These lawyers joined our team to help clients get the justice they deserve.
Darren A. Miller, founder and senior attorney at D. Miller & Associates, PLLC™, shared his enthusiasm for the firm’s new additions.
“Each brings an impressive knowledge of the law, wrapped in a deep passion for helping people in need,” Miller said. “This combination of traits aligns perfectly with the commitment to service we promise our clients.”
Clarence King Is Driven by a Desire to Help Others
Clarence set his sights on a legal career early in life. For him, this profession would enable him to fulfill a deep-felt longing to help people in need. Clarence started pursuing his dream career by attending Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice.
Not one to sit still, Clarence identified an opportunity to help others as he pursued his studies. He worked for Operation Making a Difference (M.A.D.), a court-ordered program that enables young offenders to gain educational and life skills via after-school instruction, rather than serving out their criminal sentences.
Team members at D. Miller & Associates, PLLC™ are eager to see how Clarence’s client-facing philosophy will help the firm’s clients.
“Preparation, of course, is key, but you also have to be an active listener,” Clarence said.
Rachal Rojas Is a Rising Star in Pharmaceutical and Products Liability
Rachal joins the firm after success in several complex litigations. Her experience includes fighting on behalf of clients injured by multiple drugmakers’ negligence and those injured by defective knee, hip, and shoulder medical devices.
A University of Houston Law Center graduate, Rachal tapped into her passion for helping injured people by working at the Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection and Public Health Division, the Texas Consumer Complaint Center, the Katrina Help Hotline, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Twice, in 2014 and again in 2019, Texas Super Lawyers tipped their hats to Rachal as a Rising Star. As a lawyer licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, Rachal also serves on the Board of Directors of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston.
Rather than kicking back and taking it easy after leaving the courtroom, Rachal extends her giving spirit to the Ronald McDonald House Houston, where she volunteers.
“It’s important to me to find a way to connect and give to my community outside of work, and Ronald McDonald House is a cause I truly believe in,” Rachal said.
The entire team at D. Miller & Associates, PLLC™ is thrilled to welcome Rachal and Clarence to the firm.
