Clarence King is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and attended high school in Dayton Ohio at Stivers School for The Performing Arts. Clarence grew up with aspirations of becoming an attorney from a very young age. His affinity for the legal profession was sparked by being made aware of the profession’s infinite ability to help those who were unable to help themselves.
Clarence then attended Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University, in Huntsville Alabama where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Minor in Criminal Justice. While in Huntsville, Clarence worked for Operation M.A.D. (Making A Difference). Operation M.A.D. is a court ordered program that some youth offenders are offered in lieu of incarceration. The participants would report daily after school and receive educational and life skills instruction.
Clarence completed his graduate studies in Texas. He finished with Masters in Public Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Prior to joining D. Miller & Associates, PLLC. Clarence’s areas of practice included personal injury, mass torts, and criminal law.
Clarence feels proper preparation and actively listening are the major keys to being a successful advocate for your client. When he is not at work, Clarence is an avid sports fan and loves to travel and make memories with family and friends.
